All orders require one month to complete starting from the day the client finalizes the designs and fabrications with the designer, Thai Nguyen. Please note, for all rush orders, there will be a 25% fee applied to the total cost of the order.

Please call us at 657-600-8800 or email info@thainguyenatelier.com for a $250 consultation appointment with Thai Nguyen. The $250 fee will be applied toward your order if you choose to proceed after the consultation.

Designer Thai Nguyen will choose the lace designs and colors according to your request. He will present up to three (3) different options of lace.

The client will have the following options to choose from:
– beaded lace or non-beaded lace.
– having a train, no train, or a removable train.
– any neckline design including the traditional high collar, crew neck, boat neck or asymmetrical neckline etc…
– long sleeves, ¾ sleeves length, cap sleeves, or sleeveless.
– different linings under the lace or go without any lining. All lining fabrics are silk. Silk chiffon will be more see-through under the lace while silk charmeuse will be more opaque under the lace. Usually lining is for the body of the ao dai and not the sleeves.
– a matching hat (khan dong) or no hat (khan dong)

Basic Lace Ao Dai Ensemble including the ao dai, pants, fabric and labor costs $800 and up depending on the lace and the designs chosen. Additional costs will apply for a train or removable train. Pants cost $200 including fabric and labor. Khan dong (hat) costs $200.

Silk is the content of the fabric. It is 100% natural and is Dry-Clean Only. Silk content is available in many different types of fabrications including chiffon, organza, charmeuse, georgette, crepe, satin crepe back, satin organza, and duchess satin. At Thai Nguyen Atelier, we have 144 colors for you to choose from in the different fabrications.

Basic solid silk or custom prints Ao Dai Ensemble including ao dai, pants, fabric and labor costs $700 and up depending on the fabric and the designs chosen. Additional costs will apply for a train or removable train. Pants cost $200 including fabric and labor. Khan dong (hat) costs $200 and up depending on fabric and designs.

All custom print fabrics are exclusively designed by Thai Nguyen for different seasons and international Holidays. All custom prints are available in two qualities: Silk Blend Crepe (Semi Stretch, Soft and Flowy) and Silk Blend Taffeta (Non stretch, Stiff, and Structure). One piece of fabric is enough to make an ao dai.

Rose Design – 3 colorways – $200 per piece – Available in two qualities: Silk Blend Crepe (Semi Stretch, Soft and Flowy) and Silk Blend Taffeta (Non stretch, Stiff, and Structure). One piece of fabric is enough to make one woman’s ao dai.
Heart Design – 3 Colorways – $200 per piece – Available in two qualities: Silk Blend Crepe (Semi Stretch, Soft and Flowy) and Silk Blend Taffeta (Non stretch, Stiff, and Structure). One piece of fabric is enough to make one woman’s ao dai.

Bride – Phung – Phoenix: 6 colorways – $400 per piece – Available in two qualities: Silk Blend Crepe (Semi Stretch, Soft and Flowy) and Silk Blend Taffeta (Non stretch, Stiff, and Structure). One piece of fabric is enough to make one woman’s ao dai and one hat (khan dong).

Mai, Lan, Cuc, Truc – one color way per print. $200 per piece – Available in two qualities: Silk Blend Crepe (Semi Stretch, Soft and Flowy) and Silk Blend Taffeta (Non stretch, Stiff, and Structure). One piece of fabric is enough to make an ao dai.
