Welcome to the world of Thai Nguyen. This Atelier is a space and vehicle to express myself authentically and proudly through my journey as a queer, Vietnamese-American, fashion designer. Follow my process, inspirations, creations, failures and accomplishments, and most importantly, my mission of advocating for and celebrating the special occasions of my community through design.

After over a decade of specializing in custom made-to-orders, I'm so proud to introduce the Thai Nguyen Atelier Limited Edition ready-to-wear collection, consisting of Vietnamese Classic Styles from North to South Vietnam. These garments are high-quality, timeless pieces that can become your wardrobe staples to pass down from generation to generation. The idea was born from embracing my culture and roots through fashion and style.
One of a kind
Since 2008, we have focused on special occasion Áo Dài and bridal couture. I'm so blessed with the greatest gift from above that I get to work with people everyday to create the most beautiful and meaningful bespoke designs to celebrate their love stories. A bridal Áo Dài or gown is a symbol of love. Every single piece is custom-made, the only one in the world for that recipient. Throughout the process, I will personally meet with you to collaborate on and craft a unique design for your special day.
TOP - ONE-OF-A-KIND - NON-GENDERED - ONE-SIZE - ÁO TỨ THÂN - SILK CHARMEUSE HORSE PRINTS SCARVES — Áo Tứ Thân, a unique traditional Northern Vietnamese style. "Tứ Thân," meaning "four panels," refers to the coat-like design worn over a halter top or t-shirt, paired with pants or skirts. The Áo Tứ Thân offers a relaxed, loose fit and gender-fluid style. Crafted from an incredibly soft, flowy, and delicate fabric, it provides a cool and comfortable feel. Please note that this fabric is deadstock, meaning it's no longer in production. This makes this particular Áo Tứ Thân a truly one-of-a-kind piece, and we currently have only one in stock. Retail Price: $898
